Formare Culturala launches “Nordic Insights: Addressing Cancel Culture in Public Spaces through Artistic Dialogue and Cultural Innovation”, a project exploring new approaches to recontextualizing controversial public monuments.
Running from January 2025 to January 2026, the project facilitates knowledge transfer between Nordic experts and cultural professionals from Romania and Republic of Moldova. Through a series of virtual roundtables, expert interviews, and applied research, the project will develop innovative strategies for addressing sensitive aspects of cultural memory in public spaces.
The initiative is supported by the Nordic Culture Fund through the Globus Opstart+ program and brings together cultural experts and practitioners from Sweden, Denmark, Latvia, Romania, and Republic of Moldova.
