Dr. Kaari Kiitsak-Prikk is Senior Lecturer and Head of Department of Musicology, Music Pedagogy and Cultural Management at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, specializing in cultural management and organizational development. Her expertise centers on managing societal interactions within cultural organizations, particularly in contexts of changing legal frameworks and public sector transformation.
With a doctoral degree focusing on Estonian public cultural organizations and extensive experience in entrepreneurial education development, she has supervised multiple master’s theses and led significant EU-funded projects including “Higher Education Institution for Societal Engagement” and “Reinventing Mentoring in Arts Management.”
Kiitsak-Prikk serves as a certified career counselor and maintains active involvement in cultural policy research, contributing to academic publications on organizational identity, performance evaluation, and mentoring in the cultural and creative sectors.
