Burak Sayin is a doctoral student at the Department of Service Studies, Lund University, where his research focuses on European policy on creative and cultural sectors and industries in the regions of Skåne, Stockholm and Västerbotten.
He is a policy impact researcher and R&D consultant on urban innovation, culture and creativity, based in Malmö. A former journalist with experience at Associated Press Television News, he served on the board of Culture Action Europe, the major European network of cultural networks, organisations, artists, activists and academics.
