Alba Baeza (Barcelona, 1986) is a curator and writer based in Stockholm. Since 2016 she is part of the curatorial team at Statens konstråd / Public Art Agency Sweden, where she has focused on new contemporary art commissions in the public sphere with artists Danh Vo, Katharina Grosse, Huang Yong Ping, Maider López, Hanna Ljungh and Allora & Calzadilla among others. As a freelance curator, Alba Baeza has curated exhibitions in Stockholm and Göteborg and has organised public programmes such as Palestinian Cinema: Solidarity Through Film (2017, Tensta konsthall). She regularly lectures in academic institutions and holds public talks with artists, and has contributed to several exhibition catalogues and art magazines. Between 2012 and 2018 Alba Baeza worked closely with Rosa Martínez, internationally renowned for being Artistic Director of the 51st Venice Biennale in 2005.
